How to choose launch creader

Because of so many launch creaders for reading code and so on, here I am displaying the differenceand similarities of creader vi, creader vii, creader vii+ (CRP123), and creader viii (CRP129).

Here I am starting from their functions, compatible vehicles, update and languages.

Functions

Launch creader VI only has three common functions with the later 3, including full obdii functions; OBDII DTCs inquiry, fault code help and datastream graph display; and record and redisplay functions of test data. creader vii is with one more function that is read and clear DTCs and data stream reading.



Creader vii+ (CRP123) supports the creader vii fourth function and supports full 4 systems including engine, gearbox, ABS, AIRBAG on 31 car models. creader viii has one more function than that of creader vii+, which is engine oil light reset, reset brake block(this function only for BMW now), correct steering angle sensor (this function only for Landrover now) and reset battery and supports 42 car models on its fourth function.

Compatible vehicles

All are compatible with OBDII cars, but the later three also works with vehicles without obdii protocols.
